    Summer is outta here!!!!

The summer is Dead.......Long live the winter!!!!!

I hate this time of year, its just wet and windy and generally depressing. Tho that said, tha last few days have been very pleasant. I have been fighting the urge to hit the deck and scurry around gathering as many conkers as I can on the way to work.  Mad you say, well there are bout 8 massive horse chestnut trees on my walk to the station and its such a pleasant memory from childhood. Ok Ok I have grabbed a few (there is a national conker shortage I'll have you know).

To hasten the onslaught of winter I have chosen to work even harder (harder you say! surely not!) in an attempt to make the days pass faster, its working. Best news, and this is when I really know its close to the most exciting season of the four, my flights are booked (Hurrah!!!) for the annual pilgrimage to Zell am See for New Years Eve. The usual Carnage shall ensue no doubt, I hope to see the usual faces and maybe even a few surprise ones. This year I will also be nipping over to Munich in November to see 'Bullet for my Valentine', then its back to Zell for two nights of more bodily damage.

In the mean time my adrenal gland will have to make do with infrequent jaunts out on the bike, which I might add is already feeling tame. I say that and then recall almost putting it (and me) into a ditch after getting air born over a hump back bridge at XXX MPH (oops too many X's ).

So gonna stick with the ER6 for now, practice practice and do some track days I think. I reckon by next summer a GSXR 600 will be mine.

Hope your all well, drop me a line as I am sure these are just the random ramblings of which no-one reads and so well, whats the point!?

Jan SUCKS, unless your in the mountains.

Its been FAR FAR FAR TOO LONG! since I've been boarding......CMON TIGNES!!!!

Two weeks tomorrow till I leave for Tignes, France. Yes, its only a week, but I bet half way through it will have felt like a life time. Only for the rest of the week to go bye in a blink of an eye, and when I land it will have been like it never happened.

Oh well, thats life. I will have to wait another 3 weeks after that before I get to strap on my board again.

There is definitley something to be said for doing back to back seasons.
